We’re proud to announce that our ArmaLynk solution has officially received the BBA HAPAS Certification (25/H7447), marking a significant achievement in our journey to deliver high-performance, certified solutions for infrastructure and geotechnical engineering.
What is BBA HAPAS certification?
The British Board of Agrément (BBA), through its Highways Authorities Product Approval Scheme (HAPAS), provides independent certification for solutions used in highway and civil engineering applications. This certification confirms that ArmaLynk meets stringent performance, durability, and safety standards, including compliance with:
- BS EN 13251:2016
- BS 8006-1:2010
- PD ISO/TS 20432:2022
- CIRIA SP123:1996
- BS EN 14475:2006
Engineered for excellence
ArmaLynk geogrids are designed for basal reinforcement and reinforced fill structures, using composite straps made of high-tenacity polyester fibers encased in LLDPE sheaths. These are thermal welded with cross-linking LLDPE straps to form a robust, flexible grid structure.
Key performance highlights include:
- Short-term tensile strength up to 1600 kN/m
- Long-term durability validated for up to 120 years
- Resistance to hydrolysis, weathering, and microbiological degradation
- Minimal installation damage across coarse, medium, and fine fills
- Certified creep resistance and pull-out strength
A team effort behind the certification
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the implication and expertise of our teams. We extend our sincere thanks to them for their invaluable contributions throughout the certification process. Your commitment to excellence helped bring ArmaLynk to this new level of recognition.
Geoquest’s commitment to innovation
The BBA certification is more than a stamp of approval, it’s a reflection of Geoquest’s ongoing commitment to technical excellence, quality assurance, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
