The Synthetex team completed a pond lining project in Pineville, South Carolina, designed to ensure long-term impermeability and environmental protection.

To build a fully protected liner system, the team installed Hydrotex Uniform Section US300 — a formed concrete mattress solution engineered as a durable, high-performance alternative for erosion control.

The installation combined Hydrotex US300 in conjunction with a Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL), LLDPE liner, and non-woven geotextile, forming a seamless and impermeable liner across 10,684 square feet.

Hydrotex’s fine aggregate concrete and high-strength woven geotextile matresses allow underwater installation without the need for dewatering or cofferdams — an advantage for applications such as canal or riverbank protection, pond linings, and scour prevention.
