The platform builds on the strong foundation of precastarches.com, a tool many of you have used over the past few years to quickly identify optimized TechSpan precast arch profiles based on simple inputs, bringing speed and efficiency to early-stage design.

Today, Geoquest.design takes it to the next level:

Rather than a single-purpose tool, Geoquest.design is a platform designed to host a suite of applications, each dedicated to one of our engineering solutions. As a natural first step, we’ve integrated and enhanced our TechSpan capabilities into the platform’s very first module.

The workflow will feel familiar, but much more powerful with expanded capabilities, including the ability to select different foundation types such as strip, pedestal, or slab.

But that’s just the beginning:

Geoquest.design doesn’t stop at calculating the best arch shape, it opens the door to interactive 3D visualization, allowing users to explore and refine their structure in real time. Within a dedicated 3D environment, users can:

  • Adjust the length of the arch,
  • Add Reinforced Earth headwalls and wing walls,
  • Customize arch endings for specific project needs.

As modifications are made, the platform dynamically updates concrete volumes and CO₂ footprint, providing immediate insight into both material usage and environmental impact.

Once the design is finalized, users can export their work with ease:

  • A 3D model in .OBJ format
  • A detailed PDF report including views, dimensions, and key specifications

Geoquest.design represents more than an upgrade, it’s a shift toward a more integrated, interactive, and sustainable approach to infrastructure preliminary design.
