In September 2026, EPD Hub approved the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for GeoStrap reinforcement manufactured by Geoquest India.
This updated declaration, which replaces the previous EPD published in 2021, gathers information on the environmental impact of the product according to international standards. The declaration covers the life cycle assessment of GeoStrap in accordance with EN 15804+A2 and ISO 14025.
What is GeoStrap reinforcement?
GeoStrap reinforcement is a geostrip soil reinforcement solution consisting of high-tenacity polyester (PET) yarns encased in a polyethylene sheath. This design provides excellent durability, protection against installation damage, and long-term performance in challenging environments, including applications involving aggressive backfills and marine conditions.
