Located in the state of São Paulo, the city of Paulínia is part of one of Brazil’s most dynamic and industrialized regions. As urban development continues to expand, improving traffic flow and connectivity has become a key priority to support both economic activity and the daily mobility of residents.

In this context, the construction of the Estaiada bridge on Rio Atibaia represents a major step forward in enhancing the local road network. The project was designed to connect João Aranha Avenue and Trabalhadores Avenue, creating a new strategic route that alleviates congestion in the city center and provides a more efficient alternative for vehicle circulation.

As part of this important infrastructure development, Geoquest Brasil delivered the design, supply, and full-time technical assistance for the construction of a Reinforced Earth retaining wall. The structure features an ArmaStone mineral facing, combining durability with an aesthetic finish well suited to the surrounding environment. While installation was carried out by others, Geoquest Brasil ensured continuous on-site support to guarantee proper execution in line with design specifications.

Key figures:

  • Total facing area: 1,276 m²
  • Maximum height: 13.80 m

The project was commissioned by the Municipality of Paulínia and executed by the Rio Atibaia Consortium, highlighting effective collaboration between all stakeholders involved.

We are proud to have contributed to this key urban mobility project, supporting improved traffic conditions and enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Paulínia.
